We are happy to announce that to start the year the LSL engineers installed and configured DNS, AD, and DHCP services on new virtual machines running Windows Server 2019.
The migration of the company’s windows infrastructure to Windows Server 2019 was done to further modernize our infrastructure, increase security, and provide a viable route forward with modern Microsoft technologies and practices.
During this round of work a critical vulnerability was published for sudo, in which any user could gain root privileges on a host. The LSL engineering team immediately went to work patching affected machines in our infrastructure.
