The LSL Enterprise Server ( LES ) provides the core central software server for the system. All LPN appliances connect to the LES for configuration, setup, data storage, logging, user updates, and software enhancements
LES Features:
- Available as a Virtual Machine or installable software pack.
- Paired Tags – Allows for the “pairing” of tags representing users or assets. For example this allows the system to track a laptop “paired” to one or more “users” that are authorized to move that asset. If a paired object goes through a portal/door alone, the system will automatically initiate the appropriate designated “Alarm” response. It can also track the “alarmed” item in real time on screen through the Floorplan Tracking module. This feature is supported on all reader/hardware types.
- Support unlimited number of LPN’s for configuration, data storage, logging, user updates, and software enhancements.
- Supported on Linux, Windows 7, 2008, 2003, XP, 2000, and Mac OS X.
- Compatible with a range of enterprise class databases for data and configuration storage.
- Not resource intensive.
- Provides real-time output from LPN’s on screen.
- Provides multi-level security so different users can control different areas/portals. This allows for easy direct Tenant control over access to their space within a larger building control system.
- Supports per user, per portal time based authentication. Allows for valid entry times on a per user basis. IE Administrators with 24/7 access, and general employees with Monday through Friday 8am-5pm access.

- Full support for multi-level security.
- Unlimited number of Users and Tags.
- Floorplan Tracking module allows realtime graphical tracking of tags/people throughout the enterprise.
- Remote Entry module allows authorized security personnel to open remote doors anywhere in the enterprise from a central security control center.
Workgroup – Full core version, limits on number of supported devices
- Max 6 LPN units supported.
- Max 4 Console Users.
- Max 100 tags or identification cards.
- No support for multi-level security
- Optional Floorplan tracking module allows realtime graphical tracking of tags/people throughout the enterprise.
- Optional Remote Entry module allows authorized security personnel to open remote doors anywhere in the enterprise from a central security control center.
Small Business – Limited features, minimal devices.
- Max 2 LPN units supported.
- Max 1 Console Users.
- Max 25 tags or identification cards.
- No support for multi-level security
- No support for time based authorization/entry
